FOUNDATION MODULE
Turning a hidden cost into a controlled, measurable asset.
Compressed air is often the largest unmetered utility on site — typically 10–15% of a manufacturing plant's electricity bill, with up to 50% of it lost before doing a single unit of useful work.
The Foundation Module makes that hidden cost visible, walks through the business case for reducing it and introduces the programme's three pillars — Management, Operations & Maintenance and Technology.

MODULE 1 · MANAGEMENT
Energy & Compressed Air Responsible: own the strategy, the cost and the accountability.
Module 1 establishes who owns compressed air and why that ownership needs to be explicit, costed and defensible to finance and leadership.
Defines the Compressed Air Responsible role and gives it a written mandate covering safety, uptime, efficiency, hiring and communication — so the job does not depend on whoever notices a problem first.
MODULE 2 · OPERATIONS & MAINTENANCE
Day-to-day system care: keep the system reliable, clean and leak-free.
Module 2 covers the routine work that protects uptime once ownership and cost are in place and keeps a well-designed system performing as intended.
Matches air quality to ISO 8573-1 classes by application, sizes the filtration and drying train correctly and keeps condensate drainage automatic and compliant.
MODULE 3 · TECHNOLOGY
Engineering the system right: size, control and recover energy correctly.
Module 3 addresses the engineering decisions around equipment, design and control that determine how efficiently the system can run.
Compares compressor families — oil-injected screw, oil-free screw, centrifugal and reciprocating — and dryer technologies such as refrigerant, desiccant and membrane to match the application and required air quality.
